Sunday Yoga with Kane - 6th Sep-8th Oct @ Yoga Studio Ely

from £14.00

Sunday morning yoga is a 90-minute practice held at Yoga Studio Ely, a beautiful ashram-style space where yoga and spiritual practice have been part of the land for more than 35 years.

Each Sunday is a little different. We begin by arriving into contemplation, often accompanied by Live guitar and , before moving into traditional practices, philosophy and an exploration of whatever feels alive in the room that morning. From there, the practice unfolds through asana, pranayama and breathwork, meditation, savasana and deep relaxation.

The class draws from the wider tradition of yoga rather than focusing only on the physical practice. There is no expectation to perform, achieve or already know what you're doing. The emphasis is on direct experience, kindness and discovering what the practice means for you.

Afterwards, you're welcome to stay for tea and conversation in the community lounge. When the weather allows, parts of the practice may also take place outside on the puja deck, surrounded by the gardens and lakes.

If you're coming for the first time, you are very welcome. The community is warm, open and non-judgmental, whether you've practised for years or are taking your first steps into yoga.

My hope is simple: that you leave feeling more like yourself, more connected and more present.
